Cleaning the Camera Optics (Continued)
2 Obtain the following cleaning materials:
3 Detach the camera from the microscope, and remove the c-mount adapter from
the camera. If you are using the camera with a lens, remove the lens.
4 If the camera is not connected to the computer, turn off the camera and the com-
puter. Then connect the camera to the computer.
5 Turn on the camera, then turn on the computer and wait for it to start.
• Clean camel-hair brush (small)
• Can of clean-room-grade com-
pressed air
• Bulb-type manual blower
• Lint-free disposable cleaning wipe
(such as e-wipe) or a high-grade lens
tissue (non-abrasive and lint-free)
• Distilled water or methanol
