Date Imprinting
Use this function to record images imprinted with the date.
Note
• If the date has not been set in the Setup menu, this function is not
available. Set the date. The date is displayed in the format selected
with the DATE SETTING option in the Setup menu. → P.39 “Setting
the Date and Time”
A Set the mode dial to one of the
following: [ , or ] and press the
MENU button.
B Select [DATE IMPRINT].
C Select the date type (DATE, DATE +
TIME, or TIME) and then select [OK].
Example
The format for the date (2000/09/15/10:15) is
displayed as shown below. If you have
chosen
• [DATE] ................ 2000/09/15 (yyyy/mm/dd)
• [DATE + TIME] ... 2000/09/15 10:15 (yyyy/
mm/dd/hh:mm)
• [TIME]. ............... 10:15 (hh:mm)
Note
• To cancel the date imprint mode,
select [OFF].
D Select [EXIT] to exit the menu display.
E Press the shutter release button to
take the picture.

• Enable the keep settings mode to save the date imprint mode setting.
