Magic Touch
Simply touch the area on the LCD screen that you want to focus on when taking a photo.
You can capture clearer photos as the Magic Touch function optimizes the focus and white
balance for the point you touch.

) mode by pressing the MODE button.

2. To exit the menu, touch the Return (
) tab.
You can activate the Magic Touch function by pressing and holding
a particular point on the LCD screen for about 2 seconds while in the
record STBY mode.
To capture the photo, press the PHOTO button after focusing or simply
touch the point to focus and hold for 2 more seconds with a finger.

To disable the Magic Touch function, touch the AF (

then set to “Auto.”
When you specify “Magic touch: On,” “Face Detection” is set to “Off” automatically and
“Metering” is set to “Multi” automatically.
