SETTING THE NOISE REDUCTION
Noise which occurs in captured images when the shutter button is pressed
during still image shooting is reduced. The initial setting for noise reduction is
off.

Display the Still Image Shooting
Setting Screen (see page 39).

Select the noise reduction on icon g from the noise reduction
menu, and press the SET button.
g: Noise is reduced.
h: Noise is not reduced.
œ This completes the noise reduction setting.
NOTE
œ The noise reduction function works when the shutter speed is 1/4 second
or more.
œ The time it takes to record the shooting data after the shutter release button
is pressed is longer when the noise reduction function is used than when it
is not used.
