Refer also to “Memory card”.
Pressing START/STOP or PHOTO does not record images.
The playback screen is displayed. Stop playback, and select [Shooting Mode] [
Movie] or [ Photo].
Your camcorder is recording the image you have just shot on the recording media. You cannot make
new recording during this period.
The recording media is full. Delete unnecessary images. [Details]
Total number of movie scenes or photos exceeds the recordable capacity of your camcorder
[Details][Details]. Delete unnecessary images [Details].
Photos cannot be recorded.
You cannot record photos together with:
[Smth Slw REC]
[Golf Shot]
[
Fader]
The camcorder cannot shoot photos while it is in the movie recording mode, depending on the [
REC Mode] or [ Frame Rate] selected.
The access lamp remains lit or flashing even if recording has stopped.
Your camcorder is recording the scene you have just shot on the memory card.
The imaging field looks different.
The imaging field may look different depending on the condition of your camcorder. This is not a
malfunction.
The flash does not work.
You cannot record with the built-in flash while:
the
(Movie) lamp is on
[Conversion Lens] is set to other than [Off]
Even if auto flash or
(Auto redeye reduction) is selected, you cannot use the flash with:
NightShot
manually-set [IRIS] or [Shutter Speed] (when either one of them has been assigned to the
MANUAL dial)
[Spot Meter/Fcs]
[Spot Meter]
[Manual] in [Exposure]
[Night Scene], [Sunrise&Sunset], [Fireworks], [Landscape], [Spotlight], [Beach] or [Snow] in [Scene
Selection]
