Horizontal stripes appear on the images.
This occurs when recording images under a fluorescent lamp, sodium lamp, or mercury lamp. This is
not a malfunction.
Black bands appear when you record a TV screen or computer screen.
Set [ SteadyShot] to an option except for [Active]. [Details]
LCD brightness cannot be set.
You cannot set LCD brightness when:
The LCD panel is closed on your camcorder with the LCD screen facing out.
The power is supplied from the AC Adaptor.
Sound is not recorded correctly.
If you connect or disconnect an external microphone, etc. while recording movies, the sound may not
be recorded correctly. The sound will be recorded correctly by restoring the microphone connection at
the start of movie recording.
If you turn the volume down to the minimum level by adjusting in [Audio Rec Level], the sound of
movies cannot be recorded. [Details]
Photos are recorded automatically.
In the default setting, photos are recorded automatically when the camcorder detects a smile ([Smile
Shutter]). [Details]
