OPERATING FACILITIES
Encoder in camera head to monitor camera video on a colour monitor.
Panel allowing fast access to the various operating adjustments.
Encoder (PAL or NTSC) in Channel Control Unit.
Visor and graticule
The Cameraman can display the following in the viewfinder:
a centre cross,
the commercial format,
an adjustable “BOX”,
“ZOOM” and “FOCUS” repeat indicators,
opposite format indicators.
The Cameraman can monitor the Y, RET1, RET2 videos in the viewfinder (RET2 is
optional).
Scene file
These are 4 operational setting memories accessible from the panel enabling storage,
repeat, transfer and configuration retrieval operations.
Note: The configurations stored are conserved when the equipment is switched off.
Audio links
The TTV1707 CCUDT500 camera system is fitted with:
an intercom connecting the Cameraman to the producer.
The link with the sound engineer can be of the 4-wire type (outward-going and return
sound over separate pairs) or via an RTS device.
a “Ambient microphone” link
The microphone may be electrostatic; if so, it is supplied with phantom 48 Volts via a
selector switch located on the back of the camera. This may also be electrodynamics
(“Phantom Power OFF” position).
An attenuation of 20 dB is available on the back of the camera (input level - 40 dB or -
60 dB).
A selector switch on the back of the camera is used to select the microphone connected
to the camera or that connected to the remoted system (operation in “MICROCAM”
configuration).
Continuous adjustment of microphone sensitivity is also available on the back of the
camera
The sound levels to the Sound Engineer can be continuously adjusted over - 6 dB to
+12dB.
