4 «48V/OFF» selector switch Ambient microphone phantom power vol-
tage on/off:
For a dynamic microphone, this switch
must be set to «OFF»;
For an electrostatic microphone, this
switch must be set to «48V».
5 «MIC IN» receptacle
Ambient microphone connection
Make sure that the «- 40dB/-60dB» and
«48V/OFF» selector switches are in the cor-
rect position for the type of microphone
used.
6 «ON/REM/(ON)» selector switch Cameraman’s headset microphone on/off.
In the «ON» position the microphone is in
service.
In the «REM» position, the microphone is
placed in service using the «VTR» control
on the lens.
In the «(ON)» position, the microphone is
in service. The «ON» and «REM» posi-
tions are stable. The «(ON)» position is
unstable.
7 «LEVEL» adjustment Cameraman’s headset sound volume adjust-
ment. The maximum level received by the
headset is 8 V peak-to-peak/300 Ohms.

Difference receptacles can be fitted with the
camera:
Type "TUCHEL"
Type "XLR5"
Type "JACK" 6,35mm
The microphone sensitivity must be - 40 dB
and it must be an electrostatic microphone.
Examples of microphone headsets used:
AVS 40811H (2 earphones)
AVS 40891H (1 earphone)
