[Exp Val]:
(Exposure Value)
Exposure compensation lets you change the exposure setting (EV
value) manually to adjust the lighting of your subject. This feature helps
to achieve better results when recording a backlight subject, a strongly
light subject indoors, or a subject that is against a dark background.
1. Push the joystick up or down to adjust the compensation.
2. Press the joystick to confirm.
The settings can be adjusted in 1/2 steps within the range -2 and +2.
You can check the result of the compensation by viewing the image
on the TFT.

You can change the picture size settings to suit your purpose.
L
(Large)

for enlarged picture size; produces higher picture
resolution and larger file size.
M
(Medium)(*)
5Mpix
for standard picture size; produces normal picture
resolution and middle file size.
S
(Small)
3Mpix
for small picture size; produces lower picture
resolution and smaller file size.
VGA 640x480
for large video size; produces high picture resolution
and large file size.
QVGA 320x240
for small video size; produces low picture resolution
and small file size.
