Mem. Card Unable to recognize the data
- The memory card contains scenes recorded in a different television system (PAL or SECAM).
Play back the recordings in the memory card with the device originally used to record them.
Memory card cover is open
- After inserting a memory card, close the memory card slot cover (0 39).
Memory card is full
- The memory card is full. Delete some recordings (0 59, 108) to free some space or replace
the memory card.
Memory card is write-protected
- The LOCK switch on the memory card is set to prevent accidental erasure. Change the posi-
tion of the LOCK switch.
Need to recover files from the memory card. Change the position of the LOCK switch on the
memory card.
- This message will appear the next time you turn on the camcorder if power supply was acci-
dentally interrupted while the camcorder was writing on the memory card and later the posi-
tion of the card's LOCK switch was changed to prevent erasure. Change the position of the
LOCK switch.
No faces were detected in this scene
- The camcorder did not detect any faces in the scene displayed. Be sure to turn on face detec-
tion (0 69) when shooting movies.
No memory card
- Insert a compatible memory card into the camcorder (0 39).
No photos
- There are no photos to play back. Have fun taking some photos (0 44, 61).
No scenes
- There are no scenes in the memory selected. Have fun shooting some video (0 44).
- After selecting [Scenes with Faces] when narrowing down the scenes shown in the index
screen: No scenes contain people’s faces or no scenes were recorded using the face detec-
tion function.
Not enough available space
- Delete some recordings on the memory card (0 59, 108) or select the [3Mbps] bit rate for
the conversion to SD.
Number of scenes already at maximum
- The maximum number of scenes (3,999 scenes) has been reached. Delete some scenes
(0 59) to free some space.
- The playlist can contain a maximum of 999 scenes.
