Viewing Video through Third-Party Devices or Software
• To access the primary MPEG-4 stream with audio only, enter this command:
rtsp://ip_address/img/audio.sav
Accessing the Secondary MPEG-4 Stream by using VLC Player
In the following commands, replace username with your IP camera user ID, replace password with your
IP camera password, and replace ip_address with the IP address of the IP camera.
• To access the secondary MPEG-4 stream with video and audio, enter either of these commands:
rtsp://username:password@ip _address /img/media2.sdp
rtsp://username:password@ip _address /img/media2.sav
• To access the secondary MPEG-4 stream with video only, enter either of these commands:
rtsp://username:password@ip _address /img/video2.sav
http://username:password@ip_address/img/video2.asf
• To access the secondary MPEG-4 stream with audio only, enter this command:
rtsp://username:password@ip _address /img/audio2.sav
Accessing the Secondary MPEG-4 Stream by using Devices or Software other than VLC Player
In the following commands, ip_address with the IP address of the IP camera. After you enter the
command, enter your IP camera user name and password when prompted.
• To access the secondary MPEG-4 stream with video and audio, enter either of these commands:
rtsp://ip_address/img/media2.sdp
rtsp://ip_address/img/media2.sav
• To access the secondary MPEG-4 stream with video only, enter either of these commands:
rtsp://ip_address/img/video2.sav
http://ip_address/img/video2.asf
• To access the secondary MPEG-4 stream with audio only, enter this command:
rtsp://ip_address/img/audio2.sav

In the following commands, replace username with your IP camera user ID, replace password with your

• To access the MJPEG stream with video and audio, enter either of these commands:
rtsp://username:password@ip _address /img/jpgmedia.sdp
rtsp://username:password@ip _address /img/jpgmedia.sav
• To access the MJPEG stream with video only, enter either of these commands:
rtsp://username:password@ip _address /img/jpgvideo.sav
http://username:password@ip_address/img/video.mjpeg

In the following commands, ip_address with the IP address of the IP camera. After you enter the
