Using the Document Camera
Using the Camera Head as a
Conventional Video Camera
By rotating the camera head to a horizontal position, you can use the
document camera as a conventional video camera. To view walls or
distant objects, flip down the close-up lens. The document camera can
resolve images from 3.6 feet (1.1 m) to infinity.
Using the Image Mate Software
The Image Mate software allows you to transfer images from the
document camera to the PC. You can also use the virtual remote
control feature to control the document camera and change its
settings. For more information on installing and using the Image
Mate software, see the manual.pdf file in the US folder on the Image
Mate CD-ROM. To view the PDF file, you will need to have Adobe
®
Acrobat
®
Reader
®
installed on your computer. If it’s not already
installed, run ar500enu.exe in the Acrobat US folder on the
CD-ROM.
note
The camera’s shutter operates
at 15 frames per second.
