Delete
In the Playback menu (see page 49),
if you press OK when the Delete
option is highlighted, the Delete
sub-menu displays, which lists
several options:
z Cancel—Returns you to the
Playback menu.
z This Image—Deletes the currently
displayed image or video clip.
z All Images on Card/in Memory—
Deletes all of the images and
video clips either on the optional
memory card that is installed or in
internal memory.
z Format Card/Memory—Deletes all of the images, video
clips, and files either on the optional memory card that is
installed or in internal memory, and then formats the
memory card or internal memory.
z Undelete—Restores all recoverable images and video clips
that were deleted during the most recent delete operation.
Images and video clips are permanently deleted and
unrecoverable when any of the following occurs:
• a new still image is taken or video clip is recorded
• another image or video clip is deleted
• the camera is turned off and turned on again
• the camera is connected to a computer
Use the buttons to highlight an option, and then press
the OK button to select it.
