DVR Software Installations (Server, Client, Search)
NOTE: You will need the product’s serial number to complete the installation of the software. The serial
number may be found on the CD-ROM.
Begin the software installation by double-clicking the “Setup.exe” icon located in the ‘INSTALL’ directory on
the provided CD.
Follow the on-screen directions to complete the installation of the software. You may be prompted to install
DirectX version 8.1 if your current version is lower. If prompted to reboot your computer at the end of the
install, please do so before attempting to launch the software.
The default installation directory is C:\Program Files\VISTAPRO4. When install is complete the following
icons will be displayed on the desktop:
Server icon
, Client icon , Search icon .
