Shoot a test exposure in case of doubt and then
diminish the distance to the subject accordingly.
Flash light from other photographers working with
the same or similar pre-flash techniques and who
are located within the working range of the slave
flash unit, can inadvertently trigger the slave flash
unit!
Please note that, in slave flash mode, settings for
flash exposure correction or a flash bracketing se-
quence set on the camera, will have no effect on
the slave flash unit!
Before taking a picture check that both the came-
ra’s internal flash unit as well as the slave flash
unit are ready for firing (check the corresponding
displays).
For system reasons the red-eye reducing pre-flash
function must not be activated on the camera
when a slave flash unit is being used!
6.2 Setting the SCA adapter
• The position of the switch ቢ SELECT is irrele-
vant.
• Set the switch ባ in the position “SL” (SLAVE).
