warning if the TTL flash mode has been set on the
flash unit. Switch the flash unit to automatic flash
mode A or manual flash mode M!
6.3 Setting the flash unit and the camera
The flash unit is mounted together with the SCA
adapter, e.g. in the accessory shoe of the flash
bracket 3436 (optional accessory). The camera is
mounted on the flash bracket.
Reflector position

After the flash unit has been switched on, the
“Auto-Zoom” mode is automatically selected and
the reflector is set to 24 mm or 28 mm position.
ISO value
The ISO value (light sensitivity) of the flash unit
must be adjusted manually to the ISO value of the
camera (see technical data for the given camera).
If the camera’s precise ISO value cannot be
set on the flash unit, then select the one that
comes closest to it.Avoid the “AUTO” ISO set-
ting on the camera! It could prove to be useful
to take testshots with different ISO values.
Compare the results and then select the opti-
mal setting for your camera.
