Recording Movies
Follow the instructions below to shoot movies with sound recorded via
the built-in microphone.
1 Select T mode.
• The maximum length of the movie that can
be recorded is displayed in the monitor.
2 Press the shutter-release button to
start recording.
• A progress bar at the bottom of the monitor
shows the amount of recording time remain-
ing.
• To end recording, press the shutter-release
button again.
• Recording will end automatically when the
internal memory or memory card is full.
jRecording Movies
• The flash (c 24), self-timer (c 26), and exposure compensation feature
(c 28) are not available in movie mode. Macro close-up (c 27) can be used
when applied before movies are recorded.
• Digital zoom (up to 2×) can be applied while movies are being recorded.
Adjust zoom before beginning recording. Once recording begins, optical zoom
cannot be adjusted.
