Sending Picture Mail
Select pictures and specify recipients, and send Picture Mail.
When a wireless LAN access point is unavailable, Picture Mail can be queued
and sent at a later time.
1 Press d in shooting or playback mode.
If a password has been applied (c 134), enter the
password and press the shutter-release button.
If the sender information (alias and e-mail address) is
not configured with the camera, enter the sender
information (c 127).
2 Press the rotary multi selector IJ to
select the desired picture.
3 Specify recipients.
Rotate the rotary multi selector to move b (recipients)
or c (recipient groups) to the selection area, and
press d to select the recipient or group (a). Press
d again to cancel the selection.
Recipients in a selected group will also be indicated
with a.
To add a recipient or group, select [New], press d,
and enter the recipient’s e-mail address (up to 64
alphanumerical characters) or create a new group (c 132, 133). Once the
information has been entered, press the shutter-release button to return to the
queue mail screen. The first 16 characters of e-mail addresses are automatically
used for corresponding aliases. Aliases can be edited in the future (c 132, 136).
The number displayed at the top right of the monitor indicates the number of
recipients specified for a displayed picture.
4 Press the shutter-release button to add
the Picture Mail to the queue.
To specify recipients for different pictures, repeat
steps 2 and 3 before applying the setting. Up to 30
pictures can be selected.
Press t (j) before applying the setting to switch to thumbnail display to
preview the pictures, for which recipients are specified, in the queue mail screen.
Press v (k) to return to the queue mail screen.
