Taking pictures using the LCD monitor
Take the picture in the same way as you would when
using the optical viewfinder. (p. 74)
<Make sure>
Pictures that appear on the LCD monitor are for
composition purposes only — regardless of
whether it is used as a viewfinder or a display
monitor. They do not show such information as
focus or exposure. If you need to know this
information, check your computer’s display.
Although it is possible to take pictures using the
LCD monitor as a viewfinder, it is recommended
to use the optical viewfinder to minimize camera
movement. It also consumes less battery power.
With D-320L, the recording process takes longer
when the LCD monitor is used as a viewfinder.
