Taking Pictures using Macro Mode
When you take pictures from a distance closer,
set the camera in macro mode

you to get closer to the subject up to 0.16 feet

1 Set the mode dial to Macro mode [ ].
2 Take a picture.
• Select the flash setting depending on the situation. (P36)
• The available flash range is about 0.98 feet (30 cm)– 6.89 feet (2.1 m). (When
setting to ISO100)
• When the jitter alert is displayed within the available flash range, we recommend
using the flash.
• When the camera lens is at a distance over the available range from the subject,
focus may not be adjusted even if the focus indication appears.
