• Battery performance temporarily deteriorates as the temperature
decreases. When using the camera in cold climates, have extra
batteries on hand, keeping them warm in your pocket. Battery
performance will return to normal when returned to room
temperature.
• Due to the characteristics of AA alkaline batteries, camera
performance may deteriorate at low temperatures. Use of other
batteries (such as CR-V3) is recommended when using the
camera at low temperatures.
• When traveling overseas, taking pictures in cold climates, or
when you will be taking a lot of pictures, have extra batteries
ready.
• You can maximize battery life by turning off the LCD monitor, and
using the viewfinder to take pictures.
