6 Move the camera to the right and take
the second picture.
Position the camera so that the fixed image
display overlaps the left edge of the transparent
display and then release the shutter.
Repeat this procedure for the third and
following pictures.
7 Press the OK button.
The screen returns to step 4.
To cancel Panorama Assist mode, change to another mode by
using the four-way controller (23)
• You cannot use the camera itself to create panoramic images.
Use the provided software (ACDSee for PENTAX) to join the
pictures. For details on creating panorama images, see the
separate booklet “Viewing Digital Camera Images on Your PC”.
• Continuous shooting is not available in Panorama Assist mode.
• The LCD monitor cannot be turned off in Panorama Assist mode.
• A computer that supports Windows is necessary for joining
images to form a panorama picture. (The software provided with
the camera is not supported by Macintosh.)
