Saving the Settings
You can choose whether or not to save the set values when the camera
is turned off. If you select [O (On)], the camera saves the settings in
effect just before the camera is turned off. If you select [P (Off)], the
settings returns to the default setting when the camera is turned off.
Saving the Menu Items (Memory)

Saves the Flash mode setting selected with the
button.

EV Compensation Saves the EV compensation settings. P
White Balance
Saves the [White Balance] settings on the
[Rec. Mode] menu.

Focusing Area
Saves the [Focusing Area] settings on the
[Rec. Mode] menu.

AE Metering
Saves the [AE Metering] settings on the [Rec. Mode]
menu.

Sensitivity
Saves the [Sensitivity] settings on the [Rec. Mode]
menu.

Digital Zoom
Saves the [Digital Zoom] settings on the
[Rec. Mode] menu.
O
Focus Mode Saves the Focus Mode settings. P
Zoom Position Saves the Zoom Position settings. P
Display Saves the LCD monitor display mode. P
File #
Saves the file number. The next filename will have a
sequential number even after changing the SD
Memory Card / MultiMediaCard.

Menu items not included in [Memory] are saved with the settings
selected on the menus for each function when the camera is
turned off.
Zoom positions set within the digital zoom range will not be saved
even when [Zoom Position] is set to [O (On)] in [Memory].
