Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
The camera
has no power.
Turn off and then turn on the digital camera. The
digital camera may have automatically turned off to
save battery power.
Check to make sure that the battery terminals
(+ and –) are correctly orientated as shown inside the
battery compartment.
The batteries are dead. Replace all four AA batteries.
Do not mix old batteries with new batteries, or use
different manufacturer’s batteries together. Purchase
rechargeable NiMH batteries to extend battery life.
Use the AC adapter whenever possible. Check to
make sure that the AC adapter is firmly attached to
the digital camera.
My photos
display strange
hues such as
orange or blue.
The digital camera’s white balance setting may be
inappropriate for the type of lighting conditions in
which you are shooting. In the RECORD menu, change
the white balance settings to a more appropriate level.

My TV isn’t
displaying my
photos or is
displaying
strangely
Make sure the TV is set to the video setting. For more
information, see the instructions provided by your
television manufacturer.
You may not have set the video mode correctly on the
camera (NTSC or PAL). Turn off the camera and
disconnect it from the TV, then try resetting the video
mode on the camera. For more information, see
page 29.
