TAPE TITLE
You can label a cassette up to 16 letters.
The label will be displayed for approximately 5 seconds when you set the
POWER switch to the CAMERA-TAPE and insert the cassette or PLAY/EDIT
mode.
1 Select a desired character. Repeat touching a key to select the desired
character on the key.
To erase a character: Touch .
To insert a space: Touch .
2 Touch to move s for the next character, and enter the character in
the same manner.
3 When you have finished entering characters, touch .
4 Touch .
z Tips
• To erase the label you have created, then touch repeatedly to erase the characters,
then touch .
• To change the label you have created, insert the cassette into your camcorder and go
through the procedure from step 1.
• When you do not want to display the label, set [ INFO DISP] to [OFF] in the
(STANDARD SET) menu (p. 70).
ALL ERASE
You can erase all data such as date, title, and cassette label saved in the micro
Cassette Memory at one time.
1 Touch [YES] twice.
To cancel the operation, select [NO].
2 Touch .

• If you have executed [ ALL ERASE], you can not operate the following functions.
– Multi-picture search
– Title search
– Date search
