SETTING THE ISO SENSITIVITY
Raise the ISO speed when you wish to reduce jittery camera movement or to turn the flash off when shooting in
dark surroundings.
ISO Setting Description
Auto (default) Equivalent to setting of ISO 100 under normal conditions. When lighting is poor,
camera raises sensitivity automatically to compensate.
100 100 is best for shooting clear, sharp images in daylight.
200 200 is ideal for shooting in cloudy situations.
400 400 is best for shooting in dark surroundings, for example, especially at night.
Note: Higher ISO speeds increase image noise. To take clean images, use as low an ISO speed as
possible.
TO CHANGE ISO SETTING:
1. When ( ) ISO is highlighted, press to enter its submenu.
2. Press or repeatedly until the desired setting is highlighted.
3. Press the OK button to select the ISO setting.
4. Press the MENU button to return to the picture-taking mode.
