Error Messages appear on the LCD when the memory is full or when there is a problem with the SD card.
ERROR MESSAGES
Cause
Memory (either internal memory
or SD card) is full.
The SD card memory isn’t enough
to hold the files saved in the
internal memory. Only part of the
files in the internal memory is
transferred.
The camera’s internal memory
may be corrupted.
The SD card may be corrupted.
The memory card is not
recognizable (maybe the card
is new or used on other digital
cameras).
The memory card is locked.
Attempts to transfer files when an
SD card is not inserted into the
camera.
The internal memory or the SD
card is corrupted.
Solution
Follow one of the below methods:
1) Delete unwanted files.
2) Insert an SD card or replace
the SD card with another that has
free memory space.
3) Transfer the photos/video clips
onto your computer.

Format the internal memory (P.41)
first. If the problem remains after
formatting, that means the internal
memory is corrupted. You can
either use an SD card as storage
or send the camera for repairing.
Format the SD card first. If
the problem still exists after
formatting, replace the corrupted
SD card with a new one.
Format the SD card.
Turn off the camera, take out the
SD card and unlock the SD card.
Insert an SD card with enough
free memory.
For an internal memory problem,
use an SD card as storage
