Step 8 To play back video file, simply double click on the desired video file.
For some operating system, such as Windows 98SE, to ensure
playback, you may open up Windows Media Player first by going
to Start – Programs – Ac ces so ries – En ter tain ment –
Windows Media Player, then ei ther drag the vid eo file into the
window player, or locate and select the video file by going to File
– Open – Browse for playing back the file.
CONNECTING THE CAMERA TO THE
COMPUTER

DO NOT connect the camera to your computer via the USB cable BEFORE
successful installation of the camera’s drivers. (page 51 )
n Connect the camera to a USB port on the computer via the
supplied USB cable
1. Plug one end of the USB cable into your camera and the other end into the USB
port of your computer (located either at the back or front of your computer).
2. Set the Mode Dial either to the SET position or to the Motion ( ) position.
l Do not set the Mode Dial to the other mode positions.
3. Power on the camera.
