Indicator Lights
The
on off
and
clear
LED indicator lights located on the front
of FotoFUN! can tell you a lot about what is happening inside
the printer. To accurately interpret what it means when these
lights are on, off, or flashing, please refer to the following:
A. THE
on off
LED INDICATOR LIGHT
The
on off
light function is very simple. When the light is
illuminated, the printer power is on. When the light is not
illuminated, the printer power is off. Press the
on off
button to
turn the printer power on or off.
B. THE
clear
LED INDICATOR LIGHT
The
clear
light can indicate several printer conditions. These
conditions are as follows:
1. When the illuminated
clear
light is SOLID, the printer is
ready to receive a print job.
2. When the
clear
light is FLASHING QUICKLY, it is
indicating a mechanical print error condition. This will
occur if:
¥ You waited too long before inserting the photo paper
at the beginning of a print job (see page 5).
¥ The printer is out of ribbon.
¥ The ribbon is not installed properly (see pages 3-4).
¥ The ribbon or paper has become jammed (see
pages 33-34).
