5.1 Clearing Document Jams
4. Remove the jammed document.
5. Lower the ADF upper sheet guide gently.
6. Lift the Upper transport unit a little to release the safety lock and then lower the
transport unit slowly.
■ Removing jams from the eject mechanism.
1. Remove the documents on the stacker.
ATTENTION
- Staples and paper clips etc. can cause
document jams.
Make sure you check the document and the
paper path fully and remove such things before
you start scanning again.
