Computer/connectivity problems
Picture orientation is
not accurate
Set the Orientation Sensor (page 27).
Flash does not fire Check flash setting, and change as needed (page 16).
Battery life is short Recharge the battery fully or insert a new one (page 2).
Camera displays an
error code
■ Press the Shutter button all the way.
■ Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery fully (page 3).
■ Wait until the ready light is green before attempting to
take another picture.
■ Transfer pictures to the computer (page 51), delete
pictures from the camera (page 34), switch image storage
locations (page 25), or insert a card with available
memory (page 8).

■ Make sure the EasyShare software is installed (page 43).
■ Turn on the camera.
■ Recharge the battery or insert a new one (page 2).

Slide Show does not
run on an external
