These settings are not available in Auto, SCN, or Video modes.
Setting Icon Options that appear in Liveview
Custom White Balance Compensation—provides for custom color
adjustment.
Registration—saves white balance settings as
Custom white balance settings WB1, WB2, and WB3.
AF Control
Choose an auto-focus setting.
This setting is kept across PASM
and independently in C until
you change it.
Continuous AF (default)—camera continuously
displays a picture in focus. This option uses the most
battery power.
Single AF —camera is only in focus when the
Shutter button is pressed halfway down. This option
uses less battery power.
AF Zone
Select a large or concentrated
area of focus.
This setting is kept across PASM
and independently in C until
you change it.
Multi Zone (default)—evaluates 9 zones to give
an even picture focus. Ideal for general
picture-taking.
Center Zone—evaluates the small area centered in
the viewfinder. Ideal when precise focus of a specific
area in the picture is needed.
Selectable Zone—use to move the
focus brackets to any of 25 focus zones (5 vertical, 5
horizontal).
