Deleting Image Files from the Camera
Image files can be deleted from the camera’s memory.
Image files can be deleted by dragging their associated thumb-
nails over the Trash icon and releasing the mouse button.
Image files can be deleted by selecting their thumbnails in the
browser window and choosing Move to Trash from the File
menu.
Image files are permanently deleted in this way, so be sure to verify the
image file being deleted before carrying out this step.
When image files in the camera are dropped into the Trash, an
alert dialog will appear. If you click OK, the file will be perma-
nently deleted without being stored temporarily in the Trash.
To delete all image files stored in the camera’s memory card,
you can initialize the disk. To do this, select the camera icon on
the desktop, and then choose Erase Disk from the Special
menu. If you click the Erase button in the confirmation dialog
box which appears, the camera’s memory card will be initial-
ized and all data stored in the memory card will be perma-
nently erased.
