Movies thumbnails (QuickTime format files) displayed in Nikon
View Browser can be played back using QuickTime Player. In
the thumbnail view of the browser window, only the first frame
of a movie file will be displayed.
Playing movies with QuickTime Player
Double-click the thumbnail of the movie file you wish to play.
If you double-click “.MOV” format files, the host application is QuickTime
Player regardless of Nikon View Control settings. If QuickTime Player is
not installed, a dialog box will open and ask you for a substitute application
to be used. If you don’t already have QuickTime Player installed, you can
install it from the Nikon View Ver.3 CD.
Once transfer is complete, the movie is opened in a movie
window in QuickTime Player.
