Transferring Your Images (Windows)
1Insert supplied Software CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. A window may appear
letting you choose the software you want to install.
2Follow the instructions that appear on-screen.
To install software
• If a window does not appear automatically, click the “Start” button on your desktop
and then click “Run”. When the Run box is open, type in “D:\Instmenu.exe” where
“D:” is the drive letter of your CD; then click “OK”.
• Exit from all applications and disable any virus-protection applications.

USB Driver Installation (Windows 98/2000)
1Connect the Digital Camera to your PC (Windows 98/2000) using the supplied USB
Cable, refer to page 43 for additional details.
2Turn on the PC (Personal Computer) and start up Windows98/2000.
3The “Add New Hardware Wizard” screen of Windows 98/2000 is displayed.
4Insert supplied Software CD-ROM into the CD-ROM Drive.
5Follow the instructions as they appear on your PC screen.
• Select only “Specify a location” and type in “D:\Panasonic\Driver”.
“D” Denotes the CD-ROM drive designation.
