Common Operations
Turning the Camera On and Off
Use the power switch to turn the camera on and off.
z Press the power switch.
The camera will turn on.
When the camera is turned on, the lens cover opens and the
lens extends.
Press the power switch again to turn the camera off.
This mode is for playing back
recorded images.

Capture mode is for taking pictures and Playback mode is for play-
ing back or erasing images. Press the Playback/OK button to
change the mode between Capture mode and Playback mode.
Pressing the Playback/OK button halfway during Playback mode
also moves the camera to Capture mode.
