Viewing images on your Macintosh
z
Double click the [ACDSee™] folder on the hard drive.
x Double click the [ACDSee™] program icon.
c Choose an image you wish to view.
Camera images can be found in the [untitled] ➝ [DCIM] ➝
[xxxPENTX] (xxx is a 3-digit numeral) folder on the desktop.
• You can also view movie pictures operating the above proce-
dures.
• If the CF card has a volume label attached, the content of the
volume label will be displayed instead of [Removable Disk]. If
the CF card is new and has not been formatted, the manufac-
turer and capacity of the card will be displayed.
Disconnecting the camera from your Macintosh

Drag the [untitled (or the name on the volume label on
the CF card, if there is one)] folder on the desktop to
Trash.
x Remove the USB cable from your Macintosh and camera.

Connecting the camera and your Macintosh

Turn on your Macintosh.
x Turn off the camera and connect your Macintosh and
camera using an USB cable.
c Turn on the camera.
The camera will be detected as [untitled] on the desktop. The
folder name can be changed as desired.
• The CF card, if installed, is regarded as “untitled.” If the CF
card is not installed, the built-in memory is regarded as “unti-
tled.”
• Although images can be viewed and printed, image data is in
the built-in memory or on the CF card in the camera. To save
the image data in the built-in memory or on the CF card to
another medium, refer to the instruction manual of your
Macintosh and move or copy files.You can edit images on your
Macintosh after moving or copying files there.
• If the CF card has a volume label attached, the content of the
