Installing the USB driver (Windows XP)
z Turn on your PC.
x Set the CD-ROM (S-SW5) supplied with the camera in the
CD-ROM drive.
c Turn the camera off and connect the PC and camera
using the USB cable.
v Turn the camera on.
[New hardware has been located]
will appear on the task bar and
the [New Hardware Search
Wizard] screen will be displayed.
b Select [Install the software auto-
matically (Recommended)] and
click [Next].
⁄0 Make sure that the [Win] folder
containing the files to be copied
is selected, and click [OK].
⁄1 Make sure that [penusbp.inf] is
selected, then click [Next].
Installation starts.
⁄2 Click [Finish].
Installation is completed and the
[Wizard] screen is closed.
⁄3 Double-click the [My Computer]
icon on the desktop.
When the camera is turned on,
the Removable Disk icon appears
in the window.
The CF card, if installed, is regarded as the removable disk. If the
CF card is not installed, the built-in memory is regarded as the
removable disk.
