Eyepiece focus control is misadjusted.
Model CC639: The small controls on the bottom of the
viewfinder control the brightness (B) and color (C) of the
viewfinder. These controls have been set at the factory and
should require no adjustment. If the brightness or color of
the viewfinder ever does require adjustment, carefully use a
plastic screwdriver. Make the adjustments with caution to
prevent damaging the miniature controls.
For best results, only use higher shutter speeds outdoors.
Press 16X9/AE MODES button to select sports ( ). See
pages 68-69.
Place mode select dial in MANUAL and press
FRONTLIGHT or BACKLIGHT. See page 37.
Turn on the built-in color enhancement light.
Special effect selected. Press the 16X9/AE MODES button
to display the production effects menu and select OFF.
If the mode select dial is in AUTO, press the 16X9/AE
MODES button to turn off the Cinema mode.

SEPIA ( ) selected on production effects menu. Press the
16X9/AE MODES button to display the production effects
menu and select OFF.
Try adjusting white balance. See pages 44-45.
Turn off Color Filter in main recording menu.
See page 51.
Title is recorded whenever it appears in viewfinder.
Remove the title from viewfinder. See pages 52-53.
Displays will be recorded on tape whenever they appear in
the viewfinder. Remove them from viewfinder when
recording. See pages 56-57.
