Special Setup
1. Select <Special>.
2. Select each item and set it properly.
• DIS : Automatically compensates for
the flicker on the screen.

DIS cannot be used if VA/MD and
tempering detection are used.
`
Digital zoom cannot be used if DIS is used.
• Day/Night : You can switch the mode
to adjust the black and white level as well as the colors.
- Color : Always displays the video in colors.
- B/W : Always displays the video in black and white.
- Auto : Displays in color mode during normal daytime and switches to black and
white mode in a low contrast scene at night.

Auto daytime/nighttime mode setting cannot be selected if the AGC mode in the <Exposure>
menu is set to <Off> or <Manual>.
• Dwell time : This is the time while each applicable lighting condition is kept in
order to enable the switch between day and night modes.
• Duration : Specify the time interval of lighting at which the sequence operation is
triggered.
• Sharpness mode : Adjust the overall sharpness of the image.
If selecting <On>, you can adjust the sharpness of the image.
• Sharpness level : The higher the level is, the sharper and clearer the outline of the
image becomes.
• Color level : Adjust the color level of the image.
• Defog : You can improve images in foggy or cloudy weather.
- Off : Fog removal function is not active.
- Auto : Images are compensated automatically according to the amount of fog.
To improve the effects of this function, adjust the <Defog level>.
- Manual : You can set the amount of compensation manually for the image.

Use this function if the image is unclear due to foggy weather.

If <Auto> is selected for the defog mode, the level is reduced as the fog is reduced.
If you wish to maintain the fog removal level even when the amount of fog is reduced, select
<Manual>.

Note that the image can be dark if the fog level is high with the amount of fog being small.
• Defog level : Adjust the fog removal level.
