Shooting with slim (variable digital zoom) setting

Select the slim icon ñ from the
scene select menu, and press the
SET button.

Press the MENU button to cancel the
menu, and press the arrow button to
zoom.
Press [À] or [Á] to magnify the image
vertically.
Press [Â] or [Ã] to magnify the image
horizontally.
œ Maximum magnification is approx. 4x.
NOTE
œ The digital zoom cannot be used with the slim ñ setting.
œ At the lamp ï setting, the resolution is set to E.
œ When capturing images using the lamp ï or night view ì setting, use
a tripod or other method to stabilize the camera.
To return to normal shooting
œ Select B from the scene select menu, and press the SET button.
