Switching between the operation modes (BASIC mode and
EXPERT mode)
This camera allows you to choose between two operation modes: with the
BASIC mode, you can enjoy taking photos while letting the camera do all the
work; in the EXPERT mode, you have control of all the camera settings.
Select the operation mode for the type of photography you enjoy.

Display the Shooting Setting
Screen.
œ The BASIC Mode Shooting Setting
Screen or the EXPERT Mode
Shooting Setting Screen appears.

Press [d] on the arrow button twice.
œ The operation mode is switched.
œ To return to the initial operation
mode, again press [d] on the arrow
button twice.
