The flash is set to off.
The flash is not ready or
charged.
The flash is set to Auto and
there is enough surrounding
light.
The distance to the subject
is greater than flash
effective range.
The image was captured
in a dark place while set to
flash off.
It is under-exposed.
It is over-exposed.
The image was captured in
conditions that are hard
for Auto White Balance to
adjust to.
Water filters out red and
yellow colors.
Set the flash to something
other than flash off mode.
It takes approximately 4
seconds for the camera to
recharge the flash. Wait for
LED indicator light to be
solid green.
Consider setting the flash to
ON to force fire the flash in
bright light.
Get closer to your subject
and shoot.
Set the flash to something
other than flash off mode.
Set the exposure
compensation to a larger

camera to far Flash to make
