Step 2: Attaching the lens hood with lens cover
Align the marks on the lens hood to
those on the camcorder, and turn the
lens hood in the direction of the
arrow. Tighten the lens hood fixing
screw.
To remove the Lens hood with lens
cover
Loosen the lens hood fixing screw and turn
the lens hood in the opposite direction of
the arrow in the illustration above.
z Tip
• If you attach, remove or adjust an 62mm (2 1/
2in.) PL filter or MC protector, remove the lens
hood.
To open the shutter of the Lens hood
with lens cover
Move the lens cover lever up and down to
open or close the lens cover.

Lens hood fixing screw
Move the lens cover lever to OPEN
to open the lens cover, and move
the lever to CLOSE to close the lens
cover.
