NS LIGHT
When using the NightShot function to record, you can record clearer pictures by
using the NightShot Light to emit infrared rays (invisible). The maximum
shooting distance using the NightShot Light is about 3 meters (10 feet).
b Note
Attaching a conversion lens (optional) may obstruct the infrared rays.
HOLOGRAM AF
When you are recording a still image in a dark place, you can use supplementary
light for focusing on the subject. While is displayed on the screen, press
PHOTO. The supplementary light is emitted during the focus adjustment (p. 37).

SELF-TIMER

GOFF Select to disable the red-eye reduction.
ON ( ) Select to activate the flash before recording to prevent red-eye (p. 30).
GON Select to use the NightShot Light.
OFF Select to disable the NightShot Light.
GAUTO Select to use HOLOGRAM AF when it is hard to focus on a subject
in dark places.
OFF Select to disable supplementary light.
