Lens Retraction Timing
The lens is normally retracted for safety about one minute after you press
the <
1
> button in Shooting mode (
=
25). To have the lens retracted
immediately after you press the <
1
> button, set the retraction timing to [0 sec.].
Choose [Lens Retract], and then choose
[0 sec.].
Power-Saving Adjustment
Adjust the timing of automatic camera and screen deactivation (Auto Power
Down and Display Off, respectively) as needed (=
25).
Choose [Power Saving], and then press
the <m> button.
After choosing an item, press the
<q><r> buttons to adjust it as needed.
•To conserve battery power, you should normally choose [On] for
[Auto Power Down] and [1 min.] or less for [Display Off].
• The [Display Off] setting is applied even if you set [Auto Power Down] to [Off].
• These power-saving functions are not available when you have set Eco mode
(=
39, 61) to [ ].
Date-Based Image Storage
Instead of saving images in folders created each month, you can have the
camera create folders each day you shoot to store shots taken that day.
Choose [Create Folder], and then choose
[Daily].
Images will now be saved in folders
created on the shooting date.
Metric/Non-Metric Display
Change the unit of measurement shown in GPS information for elevation
(=
66) and elsewhere from m/cm to ft/in as needed.
Choose [Units], and then choose [ft/in].
