■ Shooting with Manual Exposure Settings
(M mode)
The following shows the ranges for the shutter speed and
aperture settings you can configure in the M mode.
* The camera has a built-in ND filter to limit exposure. F9.2 is
the aperture when the ND filter is being used.

• Sensitivity is fixed at “ISO 50” when shooting with manual
exposure (M mode) while “Auto” is selected for the “ISO”
setting (page 141). For other “ISO” settings, the allowable
shutter speed range changes in accordance with the
sensitivity setting.
1. Set the mode dial to “M”.
2. Press [SET] as many
times as required to
select the shutter
speed setting and
then use [W] and [X]
to set the speed you
want.
3. Press [SET] as many times as required to
select the aperture setting and then use [W]
and [X] to set the aperture value you want.
• When using manual focus, you can also use [SET] to
select “FOCUS” and then use [W] and [X] to focus
manually.
