Images are distorted or not clear.
ADF: Are the glass and rollers inside the ADF clean?
Flatbed (fi-6230Z/fi-6240Z): Is the document pad clean?
No
Perform cleaning.
For details, refer to "Chapter 6 Daily Care" (page 108).

Is the ADF being pushed down during scanning? Is there a
heavy object on top of the ADF?
Yes
Do not push down the top the ADF, or place any heavy objects on the ADF during
scanning.

Is anything causing the scanner to vibrate during
scanning?
Yes
Do not allow the scanner to vibrate during scanning.

Is the scanner placed on a flat, level surface? Are the
rubber pads attached on the bottom of the scanner?
No
Either place the scanner on a flat and level surface, or attach the rubber pads on
the bottom of the scanner.

If the problem persists, check the items in "8.4 Before You Contact the Scanner
Service Provider" (page 149) first, then contact your FUJITSU scanner dealer or
an authorized FUJITSU scanner service provider.
