If, after following the steps in the chart below,
the problem still exists, please consult your
nearest JVC dealer.

The power is not connected properly.
_Connect the AC Adapter securely. ( pg. 13)
The battery pack is not attached firmly.
_Detach the battery pack once again and re-
attach it firmly. ( pg. 14)
The battery is dead.
_Replace the dead battery with a fully charged

Focus is set to the Manual mode.
_Set Focus to the Auto mode. ( pg. 37)

white. Or there are various different light
sources behind the subject.
-l, Find a white subject and compose your shot so

The tape's erase protection tab is set to SAVE".
_Set the tape's erase protection tab to "REC".

highly sensitive to light when GAIN UP" is set
to AUTO".

reaches the end of its service life, images on
the LCD monitor become dark.
_Consult your nearest JVC dealer.
The viewfinder is pulled out and PRIORITY" is
set to "FINDER".
_Push the viewfinder back in or set "PRIORITY"

The LCD monitor's brightness setting is too
dark.
