MONITOR BRIGHT
Sets the brightness of the LCD
monitor.
Adjusts the brightness of the display by using the touch sensor.

MONITOR BACKLIGHT
Enables you to adjust the brightness
of backlight on the monitor.
BRIGHTER : Brightens the backlight on the monitor regardless
of the surrounding conditions.
STANDARD : Select this when saving the battery life.
[AUTO] : The brightness will automatically be set to
[BRIGHTER] when using outdoors and to [STANDARD]
when using indoors (when using the battery pack).
FOCUS ASSIST CAMERA
When this function is used, the
outline of the focused object is
displayed in the selected color.
RED / GREEN / [BLUE]
Y BASIC SETTINGS
Select [BASIC SETTINGS], then select sub-menus.
@ CONT. SHOOTING SPEED
Sets the speed of recording intervals.
! mode
HIGH SPEED : When the dial is set to (M - !), up to 11 still
images may be taken continuously in intervals of approx.
0.2 seconds.
MEDIUM SPEED : When the dial is set to (M - !), up to 11 still
images may be taken continuously in intervals of approx.
1.1 seconds.
[LOW SPEED] : Continuous shooting may be performed
until the SD card is full.The initial shooting speed is 1
images/second. However, the speed will drop if continuous
shooting is used repeatedly.
# mode
HIGH SPEED : When the dial is set to (# - M), up to 6 still
images may be taken continuously in intervals of approx.
0.4 seconds.
MEDIUM SPEED : When the dial is set to (# - M), up to 6 still
images may be taken continuously in intervals of approx.
0.9 seconds.
[LOW SPEED] : Continuous shooting may be performed
until the SD card is full.The initial shooting speed is 2
images/second. However, the speed will drop if continuous
shooting is used repeatedly.
NOTE
When continuous shooting is used during video recording, the
speed changes to [LOW SPEED] temporarily.
